    Britney Michelle is the powerhouse behind Rooted Strength Fitness—a former pro athlete and first responder with a passion for building resilient bodies and grounded minds. With over 17 years of personal training experience, 15+ certifications and specialties, and more than 3,000 sessions coached across three continents, Britney brings unmatched expertise, grit, and heart to every client journey.

    She believes that every body—regardless of background, ability, or identity—deserves access to movement, confidence, and the freedom to live life on their own terms. An inclusive and affirming coach, Britney proudly supports the LGBTQ+ community and has extensive experience customizing training for all bodies and abilities. Her approach is rooted in compassion, built on science, and centered on helping each person feel powerful, capable, and fully seen. With Britney, fitness isn't just about reps and routines—it's about reclaiming strength, joy, and ownership of your story.

    Sarah Ward leads Sales and Marketing at Rooted Strength Fitness, bringing a powerful blend of movement science, strategic growth, and heart-centered service to the team. A former collegiate athlete with over 10 years of experience in fitness and personal training—and an MS in Exercise Physiology—Sarah knows the transformative power of movement from both a personal and professional lens.

    With more than 20 years in marketing and business development, she’s helped brands grow with integrity, connection, and community at the core. Her approach is deeply rooted in inclusion, accessibility, and equitability—ensuring every person who encounters Rooted Strength feels seen, supported, and empowered. From building authentic relationships to crafting thoughtful client experiences, Sarah’s work is all about helping people feel good, move freely, and know they belong.
